Once, an attempt to become friends took the form of a little toy horse for Christmas and a walk to the “Drunken House”. Now this photo project has become a point of connection—my attempt to learn more about her and understand her more deeply through art. Lika is my coach. She has been dancing since childhood and has always connected her path with dance, but this is not the only facet of her life. She is also a caring sister, a great friend and a fan of fantasy, and her personality feels as light as a cloud. This project is about seeing her movements as more than dance or exercise; it asks us to look deeper. It is about strong hugs, turning paper pages, a sincere smile, leisurely walks and going out for a latte when the moment is right. I wanted to preserve moments of these quiet, almost unnoticed, yet most important movements of hers.
