Photography Course "More Than a Portrait"

Course Objective:

Introduce participants to the basics of composition in a playful manner
Understand the settings of professional cameras
Master lighting and apply this knowledge in practice
Provide insights into the technical and psychological aspects of portrait photography
Learn to tell stories about individuals or communities through visual language

We will also review examples of good photography: discussing, admiring, debating, and encouraging everyone to express their opinions. We'll try to view familiar places and people from a new perspective. During the intensive course, each participant will create a documentary story about a person, culminating in an open viewing of the works where friends and family are welcome to attend.

Who this course is for:

🎓 For teenagers and young people aged 14 to 20 living in Batumi. No prior experience is necessary; professional equipment will be provided for the sessions.

Outcome:

🏆 Each participant will receive a certificate from KiNO upon completing the course. The participants' projects will be published on social media and the KiNO website.

Cost:

💵 Participation is free. The course will be conducted in Russian.
