Course Objective:

  • Introduce participants to the basics of composition in a playful manner
  • Understand the settings of professional cameras
  • Master lighting and apply this knowledge in practice
  • Provide insights into the technical and psychological aspects of portrait photography
  • Learn to tell stories about individuals or communities through visual language

We will also review examples of good photography: discussing, admiring, debating, and encouraging everyone to express their opinions. We'll try to view familiar places and people from a new perspective. During the intensive course, each participant will create a documentary story about a person, culminating in an open viewing of the works where friends and family are welcome to attend.

Who this course is for:

🎓 For teenagers and young people aged 14 to 20 living in Batumi. No prior experience is necessary; professional equipment will be provided for the sessions.

Outcome:

🏆 Each participant will receive a certificate from KiNO upon completing the course. The participants' projects will be published on social media and the KiNO website.

Cost:

💵 Participation is free. The course will be conducted in Russian.
