The “KiNO Camera” project is a support program for KiNO participants. We provide a professional Canon RP camera with two lenses, a memory card, an additional battery, and a storage bag for a period of one year.
Who can participate
The program is open to participants who:
- Have completed at least three KiNO courses;
- Prepared and submitted their final projects to festivals and competitions under the guidance of KiNO mentors;
- Already have experience working on their own projects and are ready to take them to the next level.
Participant commitments
By receiving the camera, a participant commits to:
- Create an original photo series or film within one year, under the mentorship of the KiNO team;
- Submit the finished project to festivals or competitions;
- Complete at least one advanced KiNO course (in photography or film).
- Take part in a minimum of three co-working sessions with Janna Akimova in this period.
KiNO Coworking Space is a structured, fascilitator-supported, online space for KiNo-alumni to work independently while staying connected to a creative community. During sessions, participants set personal goals, work in focused time blocks using Pomodoro technique, and share progress in a low-pressure environment. The space helps young artists build sustainable work habits, reduce isolation, and develop accountability, confidence, and peer connection as they continue their creative, educational, and professional paths.
Extension of participation
If the participant fulfills all commitments and develops a new project idea for the following year, the camera may be extended for another year.
